10 September 2009 The Temper Trap announce UK headline tour
The Temper Trap, currently enjoying their first UK hit with ‘Sweet Disposition’ have announced a headline UK tour for September 2009. The new single is taken from their debut album ‘Conditions’ released on Infectious on August 10th.
Since the band’s contagious track ‘Sweet Disposition’ began its word of mouth ascent late last year they have been featured in the BBC Sound of 2009 poll and countless tips for 2009. Early shows in the UK quickly sold out and have explained the reason for such breathless reactions as NME proclaiming “this band are destined for major things’” and THE FLY declaring that they will“ soundtrack the summer”.
Those in the know may have already caught the band’s atmospheric and epic live show at Glastonbury, T in the Park and Reading & Leeds. The band’s London show, originally booked at the Relentless Garage, was recently upgraded to Heaven and has now sold out.

The single ‘Sweet Disposition’, released the week before their remarkable album (August 3rd) was recently described by the NME as ‘… a beatific, calm-evoking four minutes of lingering, floating melodies…’
“a moment, a love, a dream, a laugh, a kiss, a cry , our rights, our wrongs”
