03 December 2009 The Courteeners - back on the road in 2010

The Courteeners have announced details of a UK tour for March 2010 to support their second album due for release in February.  The band are also playing a sold out show at the 10,000 capacity Manchester Central in their home town on 11th December 2009.

 

The group have just completed the recording of their new album with producer Ed Buller (Suede, Pulp) at the helm and it was mixed in New York with the legendary Michael Brauer.  A taster from this ‘Cross My Heart & Hope To Fly’ will be available as a free download on December 7th from the band’s website – www.thecourteeners.com. In addition a 7” collectable single will also be available with an exclusive b-side. Fans can also pre-order the album at the same time and get the 7” along with their name printed in the album CD booklet.
