24 September 2009 Muse celebrate global chart success with ‘The Resistence’ + additional tickets on sale for UK tour

Muse are currently celebrating the success of their fifth studio album, ‘The Resistance’ having achieved a staggering 21 No. 1’s across the globe. The band topped the UK charts with close to 150,000 album sales, making it the biggest selling album by a UK artist this year.

 

The album charted at 3 in America.

In addition the band has just announced that additional tickets will be made available for their European & UK arena tours this autumn. Due to the unique live production being finalised there will be no restricted view seating in any of the venues. The tour starts in Europe in Finland on October 22nd and comes to the UK in November, where they will play their first show at Sheffield Arena November 4th.
