13 November 2009 Muse announce UK stadium dates for September 2010
Muse have announced two massive shows for 2010 at London’s Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Lancashire County Cricket Club. The band whose latest album ‘The Resistance’ reached the No. 1 spot in 21 countries around the world and entered the American charts at No. 3, were named ‘Best Act In The World Today’ at Q Magazine’s annual ceremony last month.
The band are currently touring the UK’s Arenas and will this week play two night’s at London’s 02 Arena. All 85,000 tickets for this tour sold out in under half an hour. It goes without saying that Muse are in no doubt Britain’s most celebrated and ambitious live act of their generation. When they played the newly built Wembley Stadium back in 2007 The Guardian’s commented, “Few are more suited than MUSE to take on what Pele described as the cathedral of football" in a 5/5 review.
