03 November 2011 General Fiasco - back out on the road in February 2012

Following a hugely successful sold out UK tour and a barnstorming Belfast show at the weekend, General Fiasco have announced further dates for February 2011. The band also release their new EP on 14th November and will get back in the studio to finish their second album, the follow up to 2010’s ‘Buildings’.

The band, from Bellaghy, Co.Derry, General Fiasco are Owen Strathern on vocals/bass, brother Enda on guitar, Stephen Leacock on drums and new guitarist / keyboard player Stuart Bell.

Owen has recently been named as one of the judges in Coca-Cola’s London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay public nomination campaign.  They will have the difficult task of picking Northern Ireland’s ‘Future Flames’, the most exceptional young people who they believe should be celebrated with the once in a lifetime opportunity to carry the Olympic Flame.
