22 April 2009 Critical - The New Single
Following ‘I Kno U Want It’, their ‘sugar rush debut single’ (NME), Liverpool’s Soft Toy Emergency team up for a second time around with Friends Vs Records to release brand new track ‘Critical’ on June 15th.
Another perfect slice of electro-pop, ‘Critical’ is rapidly becoming the stand out of the STE set which has propelled the five piece around the UK for the last six months, causing dancefloors to break out in jitters wherever it goes. Having toured with the likes of Hadouken, Iglu and Hartley and The Faint, Soft Toy Emergency are now taking top billing for themselves and building a rabid fanbase with their ‘CSS battling NYPC on Super Mario World High octane beats’ (NME). You can catch Soft Toy Emergency at the following dates in May and June including shows at Brighton’s Great Escape and Liverpool’s Sound City. The dates include a show with fellow North Westerner Little Boots and a string of support dates with Unicorn Kid, many of which are accessible to over 14’s.
