10 August 2009 Neil Finn brings the sun to London

Neil Finn brings the 7 Worlds Collide project to London for a very special one off show at Dingwalls on August 11th  

 

This exclusive and intimate show at London’s Dingwalls, featuring Neil Finn, Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway of Radiohead, Glenn Kotche and John Stirratt of Wilco  will preview tracks from the soon to be released

7 Worlds Collide album, ‘'The Sun Came Out’ .

 

The album is the brainchild of the Crowded House front man who pulled together a group of exceptional musicians and songwriters at his Roundhead Studios in New Zealand.

The result of this extraordinary three week session is an amazing double album of original songs featuring tracks by Johnny Marr (‘Too Blue’),

KT Tunstall (‘Hazel Black’),Wilco (‘You Never Know’) as well as Radiohead drummer, Phil Selway’s, songwriting and vocal debut (‘The Ties That Bind Us’).

Other acts who contributed both their time and talent include  Ed O'Brien, Lisa Germano, Tim Finn and Bic Runga.

The album was produced by the legendary Jim Scott. All proceeds from the album will go to Oxfam.

Released on Columbia Records on August 31st
